Oreo Cheesecake!!

Now how good does this Oreo Cheesecake look?? Absolutely amazing!! Incredibly delicious!! Extra Creamy... Heavenly good!!! And you know what, it is just as easy to make than it is to eat! All you need is to bring the cream cheese and butter to room temperature before hand. After that, your electric beater will do all the work for you. Also, you will need a huge amount of patience, since the cake needs to cool down completely and then chill in the fridge for about 2 hours before you can dig in. I show you how you can make your own Oreo crust as well. It is really easy and all you need is obviously Oreos and
some butter. You can buy a pre-made crust, but if you know anything about me, you would know that I like to make everything from scratch! I'm weird that way haha...

Ingredients:

  • 15.5 oz Oreo Pack
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 24 oz Cream Cheese
  • 4 oz  Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Lemon Juice
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions:

  1. Separate about 25 Oreo cookies (remove the white cream) and blend in a food processor until powdery. Add 2 tbsp of softened butter and pulse it in until incorporated.
  2. Press the Oreo powder into a 9 inch square baking pan.
  3. Preheat the oven at 350F/ 175C
  4. Cream the softened cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Add the lemon juice. Add the powdered sugar.
  5. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Finally, add the vanilla extract.
  6. Crumble a few cookies in the batter and mix them in. Add some more crushed cookies on top of the cake for decoration.
  7. Bake for about 40 minutes. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake inside for another hour.
  8. Cool completely before chilling in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  9. Enjoy!!

    1. I would say it depends on the thickness of your mini muffins but I wouls suggest 10 to 12 minutes and leave them in the turned off oven for another 20 minutes or so. You don't want them to be giggly but you don't want the top to be brown either! Good Luck :)

  3. Wow this oreo cheesecake is so tempting! I wonder if I don't use eggs and don't bake it in the oven since I plan to make one but you know I got no oven here, I'm not at home because study somewhere. Could it be possible? hehe thank you :)
