Delicious Oatmeal Raisins Cookies

Here is a traditional yet irreplaceable cookie recipe. It is perfect for when you're throwing a party or you can freeze the dough and bake it as needed; since this recipe makes about 3 dozen cookies. It is also very healthy and in my opinion a better alternative to the chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Ingredients:
  •  1/2 Cup Butter (Or 6 Tbsp)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3/4 Cup Firmly Packed Brown sugar
  • 1/2 Granulated Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 3 Cups Quaker Oats (uncooked)
  • 1 Cup raisins
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon

    Direction (Watch Video)

    1. Heat Oven to 350F. In Bowl, beat softened butter, salt and sugar.
    2. Add eggs, beat until light brown.
    3. Add baking powder and cinnamon.
    4. Add flour and oats; mix well.
    5. Add raisins.
    6. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
    7. Bake 20-25 min or until light golden brown.
    8. Let cool. Enjoy!
